Chloe  Chihuahua/ Dachshund
Chloe was dumped by her owners at
one of the highest kill shelters around.
Orange County animal services in
Orlando, Florida. A woman named
Ute cross posted her and I saw the
picture on Facebook.  After a few
facebook people going back and forth
through comments  were able to
connect and decide what to do about
her, Dying to survive in a Kill shelter
pulled her. Several other people
provided rides from Orlando to
Deland and I got her from there. I
meant to make her a foster but as
soon as she hit the car and got under
my armpit, she was in for keeps.
Chloe was rescue only because of
behavior issues. We met her sight
unseen. I saw her photo and was
compelled to get her out. She is a
chi-weenie...( or sometimes, a
chi-meenie) She did have introduction
aggression and some food
aggression. I brought her to the pack.
The all sniffed, growled and no one
fought. By now my pit bull who had
separation anxiety was over it and
she was very patient with the new
snarls.  Someone must have really
mistreated her because there are
certian male persons who cause her
to have irrational aggression.
Otherwise, she's a love bug I have not
regretted one minute.

Chloe loves to snuggle. She sleeps behind my head and because of
her Dachsund roots, she makes a lovely pillow. She loves car rides
and will do her best to run between my legs to get out and go for a
ride. Once, she succeeded and while parked in a Publix parking lot,
she leaped the window and attacked the poor cart boy. The photo of
her on the right in a butt hat was that day. She loves to wear dresses
but the first time, she was clearly scared. Previous parents had
clearly not pampered her too much. She's one of us now!!
